Simple Woman's Daybook

The Simple Woman's Daybook
FOR TODAY- February 10th
Outside my window... a small dose of winter snow.
I am thinking... that I have to get my teeth brushed, dragon breath is not the family's favorite.
I am thankful for... my husband, and his way that he cares for both myself and the boys.
From the learning rooms... valentines and how to treat friends.
From the kitchen... just a pot of coffee- but plans for some Poppyseed Chicken Dinner, and a Bulls eye Bread for lunch ( a hole cut out of a piece of bread with an egg in the middle- Odin's new favorite meal)
I am wearing... my PJ's still, but should change soon- Odin needs to get picked up from the bus in 40 minutes.
I am creating... the finishing touches on my birthday shirt ( I decided to go sleeveless- due to the 3 votes I got a few weeks ago) and Beanie for baby simpson (one of the gifts planned)
I am going... back and forth from my laundry room
I am reading... Sill the Urban Homestead: a guide to self sufficient living in the heart of the city
I am hoping... to clean bathrooms, make more deodorant (it is almost gone) and get dressed soon.
I am hearing... my dog snore.
Around the house... piles. I am a piler, who lives with a "place for everything" partner.... but when the cat's away the mouse makes piles.
One of my favorite things... Bjorn's use of possessive words and Odin's eating without a few front teeth.
A few plans for the rest of the week: playschool for B, Valentine Parties, and a schedule-less week.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
Odin and his missing teeth!

  1. Bulls eye bread, huh? My mom used to make that same thing for us when I was younger except it was called Toad in the Hole- not sure where the name came from but I sure miss it!
