7.5 pounds!

yes, you read that right....

this cake is 7.5 pounds.

I picked it up after frosting it and almost dropped it....

this bomb of pure chocolate goodness is

4 1/2 inches tall

9 inches wide

filled with a chocolate strawberry filling

and covered in layers of bittersweet ganache.

Oh sweet heaven.....

may my hips forever love this day.

Today is Bjorn's 6th birthday~ and last week he found this cookbook.... of course he wanted the cake on the front cover (who wouldn't.... isnt that why it is on the cover?)

I think he got his little hearts desire.
