Sunday Sundays

Christmas gifts this year for the Hellum Family we made "Home to Home Journals" . For the year we will send these journals back and forth with family filling the pages with fun drawings, letters, stories, etc..... building our relationships with our family that is far from us. I made them last night, and the kids wrote and drew in them today. These books made for a fun family time together. They will be in the mail tomorrow.

Later this evening I found some "old" random fabric in the boys room.... I think older than O ( who is five)- the red check is from O's nursery and the cherry print ( who'd-a-thought I'd have some cherry print) I think my mom bought it for me to make some curtains out of- like 7 years ago....

so we know when one gets lemons, you make lemonade....

but what do we do with fabric when one has fabric...
how about...

MAKE A TABLECLOTH.... and it looks fab in my new red kitchen.

  1. What a good idea! Tiff I always tell Thomas that I'll be one of those old ladys who dies with a bunch of fabric stashed everywhere that everyone else gets to have fun with! You've inspired me make table cloths and pj pants someday!
