remember this???? well here is the top of the quilt... it is not the planned pattern that I had scripted, but all the more beautiful!
I had fun pulling together all the primary colors as well as the hawaiian theme. I think the greatest thing about crafting is thinking about the person who it is for, as you sew, stitch, knit and create away. The thought of a new baby, the wonder if it is a boy or a girl, the loving parent this child will have.... oh, the things that I have wished over this blanket as I begin to finish it for my bestie and her new addition coming soon!
today my dining room table was a bit of a mess again ( not surprised!)
but the outcome was a finished quilt top and lots of thinking of a sweet little one coming....
a pretty great day if I say so myself!
