it has been a dream of mine for a long time.....
not much of one~ for Bryan....
but, I have always wanted to travel in a tiny trailer across the states~ to see all that we could see.
The kids are at a great age to travel and to get to know the history of our country~ and after many long conversations and jokes... my husband conceded and gave in ( or just gave up!).
We purchased a little angel of a trailer, a 13' 1969 Safari.... that will make the trip fun, simple and easy to get from here to there!
We are now having to think of a name for this sweet girl~ We came up with 4 (all having something to do with the color red)?
What do you think????
Ruby,
Scarlett,
Calista, or
Sherry
you can make a comment below to share your opinion.
She is pink and white inside~ with shabby chic curtains...
but you know me...
maybe making one of the storage doors magnetic chalkboard paint...
I'm thinking for curtains:: this
for cushions:: this
pillows::
maybe putting this print up::
can you tell I am excited!!!!
we go and pick her up next week.......
until then,
my weekend dreaming beings.
Happy Weekend Dreaming to you!
This is so exciting! It's like your own little playhouse. I'm super envious and can't wait to read about all of your adventures. Fabrics are darling! Have fun selecting a name. Will you paint it on the trailer?
ReplyDeleteWOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! Can't wait to see it!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I think Ruby sounds good...look forward to seeing more of her! :D
ReplyDeleteVery exciting. FYI the magnetic chalkboard paint is not that magnetic...I was so excited one year to paint some old chalkboard in my classroom with it and after 4 coats, I can only stick sheet magnets to it with nothing in between them and the board.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I vote for Ruby. :)
ReplyDeleteMatt and I did a road trip last summer, and it was one of the most fun trips we have had together. If you want any suggestions, let me know!
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME! We have talked/joked about this too! I am sooooooo jealous!
