yes they are pricey...
but, they are worth every penny. I have a few pairs that I have acquired over the past 19 years, and I wear them ALL the time.... my pair that is 19 years old are still going strong... and they are just as awesome as the day I bought them. Many years ago, I would "have to" travel to New York to buy them.... (pre-Internet). Lucky for me, I have friends there... so I would visit them on my way to the store ( just kidding .. I am not that shallow!). Today, there is not only the Internet, but there is also a shop in the city... just a stone's throw away! (which is good/and bad~ you know what I mean!)
